If I call him, will it cost long distance even though our phones are both American?|||It depends on the coverage that you both have, I believe. Unless both of your coverage plans include Puerto Rico, it would probably be considered long distance or at least roaming.|||puerto rico is on verizon's extended network, so it would be ok. they have the most coverage there, i think. other carriers might have extended coverage, but be careful, as some out of the way places in PR might still be roaming (triangle on screen).
