I am seeking an attorney for 2 cases that occurred in Puerto Rico. I am from NYC and was told I might be able to seek legal services for federal cases, because I am an outsider. Does anyone know if this is true?|||You need to find an attorney who is a member ot the Puerto Rico Bar Association. Many attorneys hold membership in a number of states. You can go to the American Bar Association at www.abanet.org and find an attorney who holds licensees in both NY and PR|||An attorney will do anything if you pay them enough money (that's why they're attorneys!)
But it sounds expensive. You're sure you couldn't find a good one there to handle the case for you?
