USA and Spain make a peace treaty in Paris, to the end of the war. Spain ceded their last colonies to USA, including: * Puerto Rico * Cuba * Guam * Philipines. USA managed differently each of these four. If you do not trust Wikipedia, there are many other encyclopedic and history websites to look for information. Or go to a library and find history books about: * Puerto Rico's History * Spanish American War (1898) * History of USA (during 1898) Do you trust the Library of the Congress?
