What do I need to do to be considered a resident of Puerto Rico?
How long do I have to live there before I am considered a resident?
I am living in California but I am planning on moving to Puerto Rico and I need to know this for the University I will be attending.|||You need to live there. To be a resident you will need to get a place to live, place to work and prove you are there. I am not sure of the time frame though.|||They should be able to tell you. It is normally one year but some places allow less time. If they do not know it sounds wierd.
