I am not sure of your citizenship, but you I am sure as long as your are allowed to stay in PR for a few months at a time then you should be able to rent a place, but you should talk to officials to be sure. You might have a hard time finding a place to rent for only 2 or 3 months. You can check vacation rental properties & see if they will give you a good deal since its a longtime stay.
