I'm graduating soon and for my graduation present I get to go on a big hunt. I would like to go somewhere in South America like Puerto Rico or Cabo San Lucas but I can't figure out what there is to hunt and how much it costs.|||Well.. BLACK BEARS and WATER BUFFALO and BIG HORN SHEEP, then there are the LIONS and TIGERS and PANTHERS and don't forget WART HOGS and CAPE BUFFALOS

If you are smart enough to go big game hunding, then you should be smart enough to know THERE IS NO BIG GAME ON PUERTO RICO,, I don't know what you are "GRADUATING" from.. but they didn't bother to teach you about INDIGENOUS ANIMALS in the world and WHERE TO FIND THEM...

"LIONS and TIGERS and BEARS.. OH MY" and Dorothy and the Scarecrow and the Tin Man know all about BIG GAME ANIMALS on Puerto Rico.. he,he,he.. GEEZUS!|||Big game hunt in Puerto Rico?
* There are no deers, moose, buffalo or similar big game here.
* No lions, rhino, elephants, or zebras either.
* The nearest thing to big game hunt in PR is going angling or game fishing. Options :
*** Swordfish: They reach a maximum size of 14 ft 9 in (455 cm) and 1,400 lb (650 kg). The International Game Fish Association's all-tackle angling record for a swordfish was a 1,182 lb (536.15 kg) specimen taken off Chile in 1953.
*** Marlin: The larger species include the Atlantic blue marlin, Makaira nigricans, which can reach 5.968 metres (19.58 ft) in length and 818 kilograms (1,800 lb) in weight, and the Black marlin, Makaira indica, which can reach in excess of 5 metres (16 ft) in length and 670 kilograms (1,500 lb) in weight. They are popular sporting fish in tropical areas.
*** Or maybe a shark, several species of sharks swim the waters around PR, including:
***** Tiger Sharks
***** Blue Sharks
***** Silky shark (Carcharhinus falciformis)
***** Oceanic whitetip shark (Carcharhinus longimanus)
***** other sharks
* You mean hunting with a gun, not with a fishing rod and a yatch? You can hunt for certain wild birds in Puerto Rico, not sure when the hunting season is open.|||no hunting in PR, unless you want to shoot some exotic iguanas, there id actually nothing to hunt there. I dont know about other countries, only thing I can think of its south america brazil or something but I dont know about the hunting laws in south american countries. Before you do that, you want to make sure you do know the laws because then you will be hunted and that's not good.

Only thing you can do in PR is exotic iguana hunting in the middle of the jungle and its not illegal, even thought hard to find and kinda stupid. If your looking to hunt big animals then PR and the caribbean islands its not the place because they dont have big mammals running in the wild. Only dangerous insects like spiders and centipedes that are fatal, that's it.|||Neither of those places is in South America. Never heard of any "big game" in either place.
