I'm staying in Puerto Rico from 4/7-4/12 and am looking for a cheap hotel, but one that is located close to a beach & preferably close to San Juan or in San Juan. By cheap, I mean less than $100/day.

You'd be able to find a vacation rental in San Juan for less than $100/day. I've always found rentals to be cleaner than hotels, and a better value.
