puerto rico: I know the most obvious places might be in San Juan or the beach areas, but does anybody know any unique spots in the country that would be perfect for a destination wedding. Are there any nice areas or resorts that coould be accomodating for around 60-70 people. Also if there are any planners, or wedding specialists in Puerto Rico who you have used then please us know as it will really help. We havent been there before but we think it would be an ideal location for a destination wedding.|||When i went with my fiancee, we went to this lighthouse at the very edge of a beautiful cliff in a place called Cabo Rojo. It's about 2 hours away from San Juan, and is beautiful! Actually where i proposed :) Should look it up|||I have been to that destination mentioned above and it is stunning. I also have been to Rincon beach and that is also a fantastic setting. If you are lokking for a more private area then Cabo Rojo would be better as it's quite far from the capital. However, a lot of weddings in Puerto Rico take place at beaches because the weather and scenery is so beautiful and you can get many hotels, especially at Rincon beach that deal with weddings and can be very helpful in organising. I'm sure also they will recommend any planners that you are looking for and will most likely cater for you instead of hiring an independant company. There are other people you can look for e.g. a wedding photographer and I know one person name Jose Febus who has done beautiful work at weddings. He works weddings all over PR and is easy to work with.
